This double page spread is another from a music magazine. The spread is an article/interview with a MC from Leeds. The layout of the double page is the article information carrying on to both of the pages. The colour scheme as shown is brown and white- brown signifying sadness and wistfulness; however it also can be portrayed as ‘smart’ colours as many clothing lines use the colour brown. The picture on the page is a long-shot which shows the persons whole body but also shows part of the back ground as well. The man in the spread is also dressed in dark colours which complements the brown but is comparatively wearing an orangey-purple jacket to create a better stand out effect.
In contrast to this, the text colour is in white so that it appears brighter and bolder on the brown coloured text boxes. Although the text font is basic it successfully does its job by matching the theme of the spread. There is also another shade of white which looks like it is light-blue which has been used for the answers of the questions being asked and the introduction part at the beginning. The main title has been printed off in white text too and is printed bigger than the rest of the text to show that it is a main heading.
The only problem with this double page spread is that it is lacking in images and brighter colours, which to some people can be interpreted as dull and boring and I want my magazine to be fun and quirky.
